Office Hours

By appointment only. Call (843) 902-2808 or use the form below and the office will set a time with you. Prayer times are always a good moment to find someone at the masjid.

Write to us

Send the office a message.

Everything sent from this form lands with the masjid secretary, who reads it and replies within two working days. No robot answers it and nothing is filed away unread.

Before you type

Two things make a first reply useful rather than a request for more detail.

  • Pick the closest subject. It decides who reads your message first. Membership goes to the secretary, school questions go to the weekend school, and a marriage request goes to the imam.
  • Say what you actually need. A date, a name, a deadline, or the thing that went wrong. One paragraph with specifics beats three without them.

Friday is the busiest day in the building. A message sent on a Friday afternoon is usually answered on Monday.

Some things should not be typed at all Email is the slowest way into the masjid. The office answers on (843) 902-2808 through the day. When somebody has passed, the janazah coordinator, Mustafa, answers on (843) 655-7621 at any hour, and the janazah page sets out what happens after that call.

Message the masjid

Your name, a way to reach you, what it is about, and what you need. It takes about a minute.

Contact the Masjid

Write to the office and a person reads it. Fill in what you can and the office answers within two working days.

Anything urgent should be a phone call, not a form. For a janazah, call the coordinator, Mustafa, on (843) 655-7621 straight away, at any hour. For anything else that cannot wait two days, call the masjid office on (843) 902-2808.

What happens to what you write. Your message goes to the masjid secretary and to whoever at the masjid can actually answer it. It is never posted publicly, never sold, and never passed to anybody outside the masjid. Your email address is added to the masjid contact list so the office can reply and keep you told about what you asked after, and every message the masjid sends carries a one click way out.
