These canvas totes are a small and honest way to support Grand Strand Islamic Society. You get a bag you will genuinely carry to the grocery store, to Jumuah, and on the weekend school run, and what is left after the cost of making it comes straight back to the masjid.
Both pickup and delivery are free, and you choose which one you want after you order. Nothing is shipped from a warehouse and no order is handed to a courier you have to chase. A person from the masjid reads every order and follows up personally, which is slower than a tracking number and a great deal more useful when something needs sorting out.

There is no label to print and no third party to call. Every order placed on this page is handled by somebody at the masjid, which is why the follow up is a real conversation rather than an automated email.

Choose a design from the grid below and check out on this site. Payment is taken securely through the same checkout the rest of the GSIS store uses, so your card details never sit with the masjid.
Your confirmation email arrives as soon as the order goes through. Keep it. The order number in that email is the reference we use when we get in touch.
We coordinate with you
Once your order lands, somebody from the masjid contacts you using the email address and phone number you entered at checkout. That is the point where we agree how you want the tote and when you want it.
If it is a gift, or you need it in hand before a particular date, say so in the order notes and we will work to it rather than guess.
Pickup or delivery, your choice
Collect it at the masjid after a prayer or during office hours, or ask for local delivery on the Grand Strand and we will bring it to you. Both options are free to you, with nothing added at checkout for either one.
Choosing pickup keeps a little more of your money inside the masjid, because every delivery run costs volunteer time and fuel that would otherwise go somewhere else.

Quantities are limited. Once a design sells out it may not return, and nothing here is reprinted to a schedule. The cards below come straight out of the GSIS store, so the price you see is the price you pay and a design that is gone simply stops appearing.

If a design you remember is not on this page, it has come off sale. That is what a limited run means here. We print a batch, the community carries them, and when they are gone we would rather retire a design than keep reordering the same bag forever. Every tote directly supports masjid operations, programming, and community initiatives. It is something useful and meaningful rather than merchandise for its own sake, and the money does not vanish into a pot you never hear about again. Here is what it actually holds up.

Operations
The building itself. Power and water, the cleaning, the insurance, and the quiet repairs nobody notices until the week they are not done. This is the least exciting line on any masjid budget and the one that never stops.

Programming
The Weekend Quran and Arabic School, the youth program, and the classes that run week after week whether ten people come or eighty. Consistency costs money, and consistency is what turns a building into a community.

Community initiatives
Support for new Muslims, funeral and janazah help for families in the hardest week of their lives, and the shared meals that get everybody into one room. Work that rarely announces itself.

A tote is a small thing. It is also the kind of small thing that gets used four times a week for three years, seen by everybody at the school gate and the checkout, and paid for once. That is a good trade for the masjid and a better one for you than another bag you will not remember buying.
